| 05/06/2008 - Boat Ramp and waterfront Pavillion access |
|
Residents can come to the POA offices and fill out a form to obtain the combination of the lock now controlling access to the boat ramp area.
The use of our boat ramp by non-residents was on the increase and this will keep the access limited to residents only. |

|
| 08/20/2008 - Click in and Click Out is Coming to the Rear Gate |
|
To increase security and decrease the number of non-residents cutting through our sub-division, we will be going to a click in-click out status on the rear gate leading to Peel Road on September 15th, 2008.
The design changes to the back gate area will accomodate emergency vehicles, school buses, utility companies and Realtors who may not have a remote opener but need special access.
Immediately, a communication device will be mounted on or near the back gate allowing those who need egress to communicate with the guard.
Please instruct your visitors to use the front gate only unless you are going to call the guard an leave their name for access.
This will help to eliminate residents of other sub-divisions in our area using our neighborhood as a pass-through road to avoid driving 3 additional minutes.
We should be moving forward with a design change to the back gate that will eliminate "tail-gaters" from following residents in. We hope to implement those changes within the next 90-120 days.
Thank you for your cooperation, concern and understanding as we strive to make Grand Harbor a better and safer place to live. |
