| 11/01/2009 - IMPORTANT NOTICE - GH ENTRANCE GATES OPERATIONAL |
|
At present, all gates are operational in GH/HS. All residents and property owners should use the right lane when entering GH. All visitors and contractors should use the left lane. If you have any kind of trailer, even if you are a resident or property owner, please use the left lane to avoid damage by the gate arm. Also, please do not tailgate as the gate arm may cause damage to the tailgating vehicle. Please note that there is free egress from any of the GH/HS gates. If you are exiting, please pull up close to the gate and it will open automatically. Gates at the entrance to GH will remain open from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. to allow for morning and afternoon traffic. Only the gate arms will control entrance access during this time. If you are still having problems with your access device, please take your vehicle to the POA to resolve the issue. Some recent problems have included: · Double Tags · EZ Tags that have been tampered with or altered · Vehicle registered but not put on computer system Remember, even though you filled out the paperwork, if you didn’t take your vehicle to the POA for data entry, your EZ Tag will not work. Please also note that the procedure for registering vehicles was done for the protection of GH/HS residents and property owners. We are trying to keep unauthorized vehicles out of GH/HS and off our roads. Also, due to resident requests, names are not listed on the call boxes at the gates. If you wish your name to appear along with your dialing number, please notify the POA. As with any new systems, there will be problems, we apologize for any inconvenience our residents and property owners have encountered.
